The series competed at Lincoln Park Speedway for the first time in 1979, which was the second year of the series, with 20-time series champion and Indiana native Steve Kinser, picking up the win in that race.
The last 410-winged sprint car race at Lincoln Park Speedway was in 2006, when the National Sprint Tour (NST) paid a visit to the bullring. Tim Kaeding won that event over Travis Rilat and Brandon Wimmer. A pair of current World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series drivers raced in that event. Paul McMahan finished fourth, with Shane Stewart rounding out the top-10.
