Six Features Next Saturday At LPS To Close Out the Championship Points
The Sprints had 20 entries and the 3 fast times went to Aaron Davis, Seth Parker and Harley Burns. Heat race 1 Ivan Glotzbach won it from the pole and looked very strong over Jadon Rogers and Aaron Davis. Heat race 2 Kyle Johnson won it from the pole over Seth Parker and Mason Giddens. The final heat was won by Tye Mihocko over Zack Pretorius and Harley Burns. This setup the 25 lap wild A main with Ivan and Seth drawing the front row. It was a great battle early as Harley and Seth headed to the front with many great battles early from 3rd thru 8th changing every lap. The 16B and 38P looked to be the class of the field but once again they both had unfortunate luck from a spin where they were collected ending their chance at the win. This gave the lead to the 24P Tye Mihocko and he would go on to win the 25 lap feature over Beau Brandon, Zack Pretorius, Jadon Rogers and Aaron Davis. The story of the night was the run Beau Brandon had from 15th to 2nd. Kudos to that entire team for an awesome run passing that many cars. Next week sadly is the final night for our favorite non wing heroes and it will for sure be a dandy on the LPS clay.
The Mods and Super Stocks will start the night next Saturday with their features. The bad word “RAIN” which we have seen like 12 times this year at LPS in 2025 got us again as soon as the Bomber feature was over and we will start with these two 20 lap A main events after qualifying this week. The Mods and Super Stocks had great fields of 22 and 24 each. The Mod heats were won by Matt Mitchell, Jerry Bland Jr. and Cody Wright. The Super Stock heats were won by Nick Kinnett, Wes McClara and Jordan Almanza. Both features will be very good shows to start the night for sure loaded with talent.
The Bombers had a huge field of 24 and the fast times went to Katie Grigsby, Josh Foxorthy and Josh Vancleave. Scott Tidwell won heat 1 from the pole over Jeremy Farris and Katie Grigsby. Heat 2 Josh Foxworthy won it over Zach Kelly and James Phipps. The final heat was won by Dustin Petro over Josh Vancleave and Danny Huber. This setup the A main and Scott Tidwell was very strong and took the big win over Josh Foxworthy Brenden Birkla and Jason Trader. This Saturday with the rain last week fans will get an awesome treat of 6 features on the card for the final regular season night. This will be a great show for our great fans at LPS. Please tell your friends or bring a friend along that has never been because 6 features with our great drivers will be an exciting evening for sure.
