LPS Win Goes to Jack Hoyer, Matt Mitchell, Wade Goodale and Tyler Rodgers

Jadon Rogers Wins At LPS Using The Big Curb

Mother Nature finally behaved on Memorial Weekend and LPS had an awesome track with 26 sprints checked in for the night. Thanks to Tommie and crew for a great surface as fast times for the sprints went to Jack Hoyer, Seth Parker and Cameron La Rose. Seth ripped a 12.879 on the track that we always call the Curb with an attitude. This was a great field of cars and the 3 heat top 5 format with 5 from a B main would be used. Heat race 1 had Jadon Rogers and Cale Coons on the front row. Each heat race was loaded with talent in Indiana we are so blessed with our non wing caliber. Jadon was able to hold off Cale for the win but these 2 both held off Jack who was quick qualifier in 3rd with Austin Nigh and Cody Williams also transferring. Heat race 2 the champ Tye Mihocko held off Seth Parker, Zack Pretorius, Nate Ervin and Beau Brandon. The final heat was won by Cameron La Rose over Brayden Fox, Matt Goodnight, Saban Bibent and Kyle Johnson. This setup the last chance for the final 5 spots. Logan Prickett won the 12 lap B over Tony Helton, Travis Oldfield, Bryar Schroeter and Scott Plew. This setup the 25 lap A main and the giant famous LPS Curb was back. Jadon and Seth drew the front row and the 1st 10 laps they were inches apart up on the famous Curb that sometimes fans after the races go an sit on the ledge like a chair it is so tall. Jadon had the 07 hooked up and flying on the high side. The wild famous slide jobs were back and from lap 8 thru 20 there were so many position changes behind Jadon it was crazy from 2nd thru like 12th sometimes with sliders on each end of the track. Jadon was able to control the top spot and hit the curb most of the time perfect in the 07 American Dream Racing team car and he took the win over Brayden Fox, Cameron La Rose, Cale Coons, Beau Brandon, Tye Mihocko and Zack Pretorius. It was an outstanding show for the fans and I want to thank the 26 teams that put on a memorial day weekend dandy.

The UMP Mods had 15 entries and the fast times in the groups went to Cody Wright and Tyler Loughmiller. This setup some very tough heats. UMP mods are very stout in the Midwest and definitely fun to follow them nationwide. Heat race 1 had Jarod Deckard from the front row take the early lead and hold on for the big win over Jim Mallery, Cody Wright and Kenny Carmichael SR. Heat race 2 Tyler Loughtmiller stormed from 4th to take the win over Matt Mitchell, Dustin Golden and Ethan Boomsma. This setup the A main and the 20 lap race would be a front row of Tyler and Cody. This was a good battle early among the 2 fast times but the 99T won the battle of the diamonds for the night and went on to take the checkers over Cody Wright, Matt Mitchell and Kenny Carmichael Sr.

The UMP Super Stocks had 11 entries with Lee Hobbs and Nick Kinnett getting the fast times in their groups. Lee was able to win his heat from 4th over Wes McClara, Devin Wallen and Wade Goodale. Derek Hufford from Illinois won heat 2 over Ryan Freeland and Nick Kinnett. This setup the A main and Lee Hobbs drew the 3 but in a short amount of time he was at the front and would go on for 2 wins in a row after a big win at Bloomington the night before. Lee after 20 laps took the checkers for the big win over Wes McClara, Wade Goodale, Devin Wallen and Ryan Freeland.

The Bombers had 11 entries and the fast times went to teammates Josh Foxworthy and Scott Tidwell in their groups. Both guys kept their speed going in the heats as both of them were able to win from 4th in each of their heats which bumped everybody else out of the redraw except for them. Josh was able to win in his heat over Tyler Rodgers, Randy Foxworthy and Josh Vancleave. Scott won his heat over Katie Grigsby, Josh Wallace and Jeremy Farris. This setup the A main and Josh starting on the front row was trouble for the field and after 15 laps he got the win and held on over Tyler Rodgers, Scott Tidwell, Josh Vancleave and Randy Foxworthy. Thanks to all the teams who came out for Memorial Day Weekend and put on a great show. This week is Midget Week and Thursday at LPS should be a dandy and then Saturday at LPS should be a full pits with Paragon and Brownstown taking the weekend off it will be UMP stars of Indiana doing battle at the Big Curb at LPS. See you this week at LPS for some great action.
